When we were singing “Lord, I need You”, don ko talaga nakita kung sino ako sa Kanya, kung ano ako sa Kanya. So I prayed, Lord it is you whom I need in my life. The Lord has done great and wonderful things in me through this Worship Camp. During my first few months here in Canada, I set my mind to lie-low in serving Him through worship leading. I just wanted to set aside the Lord in my life and just focus on my family and my dreams of having the things that I want - like having a good job, own a house, etc. But after the first session, we sung the Jesus we enthrone you, the Lord spoke to me with the line “Come Lord Jesus and take your place” and here I am, I rededicated my life to the Lord and welcome Him in my heart and take His place. God showed me an image of the ocean and reminded me how insignificant I am; how useless I am. But He reminds that out of my insignificance, He creates greatness. It’s no longer coming back.... Rather I came back. I also sensed an embracing feeling and I believe it was God affirming His presence in my life. Even though I am unfaithful, He is always there. Isa. 40:23-26 “He reduces the rulers of this world to nothing… To whom will you compare me? Lift your eyes and look at the heavens. Who created all these? Because of this great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.” Excited to face the challenges and great exploits God will do through me. I saw a vision – a table with big meat and a man sitting at the other side of the table. I asked the lord – “What does this mean? What you do you need at this table? If you need strength, come and eat with me. He also revealed to me that He has plan for me – higher calling (Pastor). I told God that if this is for real, I will take it if He is offering to me. I saw another vision – that God has a harvested full of basket of grains, vegetable and poured it into a sack and that was for me. He said “that’s for you”. Testimony on what happened to me during the Commissioning – It happened during that moment when everyone was in a complete silence, as what Ptr. Aldrin told us. After awhile, I heard people, while talking to God in their audible voice, started sobbing. I knew God was doing His job right at that moment. When my turn comes, God told me to declare His glory and God put the song in my heart that very moment and found myself singing “Oh the glory of Your presence, we your temple give You reverence, so arise to your rest…. (and so on and so forth) in a “Silent Mode”. Then later, I heard the group singing that same song and I started crying to God, worshipping Him. God was assuring me “to fight a good fight of faith”. You are a fighter. You don’t quit. Remember, I’m always with you.” Praise the Lord for His goodness. PS: After the commissioning, while in prayer, I saw myself floating in a sea. I used to be a seaman before but I never learned how to swim. And I was there floating enjoying myself on what’s going on without fear of drowning. Later I saw a white ship afar like assuring me it’s there for me just in case I need help. So no matter what happen, God’s assurance is there to sustain me. I saw the glory of God manifesting in the congregation as I play guitar/leading the people in worship. A vision of white cloud hovering the people that I believe is the presence of God. God also affirms me that playing beautiful music for God is my ministry. He will supply all the things that I need to make things possible. I would like to give the highest praise and glory to God on what He has done to me in this Worship Camp. A remarkable and unforgettable experience that the Lord has moved in my life because I was about to quit in Music Ministry due to overload in the ministry. But the Lord impressed in my heart that no matter what the people say, I will focus my eyes to Him, the audience of one, who is Jesus. And I saw in my vision a throne that Jesus and all the people is worshipping the Lord and lifting the praise and song to Him alone. No fear and no doubt but to worship the Lord alone. God is great since the start of worship camp. I was truly overhelmed by the presence of God. There’s a process of transformation that God is doing at the second day. But the best thing that happen is at the Commissioning. I felt the awesome touch of God. While worshipping Him to the Holy of holies, I saw the light that was bright from heaven. I saw Jesus seating on His throne reaching His hands to me and there’s a word that says “Do not be afraid for I give you courage and new heart to lead the people.” After that, there’s a song coming out from my belly that it never stop. So God gave me a new song and I start to sing in prophetic song to the Lord. There’s so much things happen, but in everything I give God all the glory for everything He has done. What I can say and testify is that I have been strengthened, renewed and refreshed again in this 3-day camp. I have attended camps in the Philippines before, but when I received an email regarding the JIL BC 1st Worship Camp, I did not hesitate to sign-up because I know what everyone experiences in these kind of gatherings. There’s joy and peace in the service of the Lord. I’ve always thought that it’ll be difficult for me to be a writer, one who is spontaneous and not at a loss for words… The Lord has revealed to me that as He touch my lips and give me wisdom, He will give me the words to say, the music to play,,, because He is the seat of wisdom, His grace and mercy abounds. The deceiver may have stolen the gift when he lost me through the maze of the world, but the Lord has held my hand, he led me, embraced me and assured me that the gift is here to stay… He has faithfully led me to this moment in time, He is the One who will guide me to cultivate the gift and talent to share it to lead God’s people, all for the glory of the Almighty, the Father, my Creator, my Savior, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ. I never thought I would really feel Jesus this close. I felt He came down as low as the ceiling. I felt He was showing me He was just right there at the ceiling and He said, we made that possible because we ushered Him down throughout praises. Further, He proved He even entered my heart because I personally ushered Him to touch my life and He did. Simply because I invited Him to come into my life once again.
